Cyber Security Center of Uzbekistan and National Communications Agency of Turkmenistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of cyber security on the sideless of the inaugural Cyber Security Summit - Central Eurasia, CSS 2023, held in Tashkent on 3 - 4 October.
The MOU covers cyber security cooperation in the exchange of information and experience, joint research and development, training of specialists and in countering cyber security threats. The signing of the agreement is a significant step in the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of cybersecurity between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
On the sidelines of CSS 2023, Hajymurat Hudaykuliyev, Chairman of Türkmenaragatnaşyk met with Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, toured Uzbekistan's new IT Park and held meetings with Uzbektelecom and several major international cyber security companies.
